Keep the Watato's Strong
Education and family gathering are very important
in raising strong watato. Single parenthood is
serious and very stressful when you give it your
all. Join another single parent with your same
interest to build strength among your family.
Learn how to support one another emotionally and
in parenting. Study the seven principles and use
them in everyday life; Umoja - unity,
Ujima - collective work and responsibility,
Ujamaa - cooperative economics,
Kuumba - creativity,
kujichakalia - self-determination,
Nia - purpose and Imani - faith.
Let's stop recognizing white people for what they
have done to our ancestors. We know what they
have done and are constantly reminded in everyday
life. If we stop recognizing whites for what they
have done then they will feel meaningless because
they are no longer a part of our lives. They can
only destroy us if we let them. Let's start giving
thanks to our ancestors for their struggle and how
far they have brought us. We must dress our watato's
strong and teach them to unite. i can't do it all
by myself but I do have ideas.
